Radiofrequency energy (RF) is a non-surgical method of repairing the skin and can be used in various ways. RF uses low-level radiation and electromagnetic waves to create heat and a thermal reaction, supporting tissue regeneration and rejuvenation.
RF devices are suitable for treating most areas of the face and body. As it is not light-based, RF can also be used safely around the eye area and on all skin types.
Your initial consultation with Dr Sam at Samara Medical will determine which method of RF is most suitable for your unique requirements.
On the day of the procedure (depending on your choice of device), the probe carrying the RF energy is applied to the treatment area. This creates tissue regeneration through collagen stimulation.
Depending on the treated area, results can last a few years or even longer.
All procedures are safe when performed by the trained professionals at Samara Aesthetics. Some healing time is involved in these procedures, which can take a few days up to a couple of weeks. This will be fully explained in your consultation with Dr Sam.
